Vote for Jen Evashavik for District Magistrate
Why is ESSPA sending this email?
Eva and I have never before sent an email endorsing any specific candidate or political party. That being said, we believe that the judiciary should always try to remain above the fray of political parties. The judiciary should and needs to remain independent. The judiciary should listen, contemplate and judge on the facts of each individual case under the rule of law - with the knowledge that laws can and do change over time.
A District Magistrate is the most local instance of where the judiciary intersects with the everyday life of an individual. It is therefore our opinion that a good and just District Magistrate should be the most independent of individuals. A good and just District Magistrate should be apolitical, free from the bounds of party politics. Jen Evashavik is running as an Independent Candidate and she embodies these ideals better than anyone we know. An active member of the
Allegheny Bar Association, Jen is a decent, intelligent, caring individual of unquestioned integrity with the compassion required to make the most informed, best decision that might, someday, affect your life.
Eva and I have known Jen for over 15 years. We have seen her in action in every facet of life - professional to social, as a customer, as a lawyer, as a volunteer and as a wife and mom. We find her the most worthy of our vote for District Magistrate. We do not begin to take your opinion or your vote for granted BUT if you have not thought about or decided who to vote for for District Magistrate in the Fox Chapel Area then Eva and I urge you to cast your vote TODAY for Jen
Evashavik for District Magistrate. Please keep reading below to learn more about Jen. Oh, and if you do not live in Jen's District, then I apologize for this intrusion and hope you have a great day.
Sincerely, Scott Kerschbaumer
