Urgent - Eva and Scott's son Kristian needs your help

Dear , Scott Kerschbaumer from ESSpa here. The first thing you should know about this letter is that Eva would kill me if she knew that I am writing it and she would tell me not to send it. Second thing you should know is that we are both somewhat hesitant to tell people about our lives - and I HATE the whole "I'm doing this" play by play on twitter and facebook. But this week and particularly yesterday has made me decide to reach out to you. On Wednesday, our little 7 year-old beautiful boy was admitted to the Intensive Care unit at Childrens' Hospital for a very low blood oxygen level and pneumonia. Late yesterday, the doctors decided to put him into an induced sleep and placed him on a respirator to take over his breathing because he was unable to do keep it up himself (poor little trooper was getting tired - last thing he wanted before they put him under was to go home and eat a brownie). At midnight Saturday they were running into problems (his oxygen had dropped to about 45% and he was not responding to anything) and this is where the thought for this note came from. I have a friend who is a pastor who married Eva and I ten years ago. I texted him about Kristian's situation and that we could use some more powerful "help". Pastor Tim just happened to be holding a midnight service at his church and through our real-time virtual text messages, continued to dedicate the entire service just for Kristian (we have never been to Tim's church and don't know anyone who attends and it is about 70 miles away). So the doctors (who are all absolutely fantastic BTW) decided to turn Kristian on his stomach INSTEAD of giving him yet another drug. After his stats started going all crazy I held on to his feet and legs just so he might know that we were there. As soon as I touched him, his o2 level jumped to the mid 90s and proceeded to steadily increase all night long. The docs are great but even they were surprised at the giant leap. I attribute this to the power we have in each of us and to the power of God and his ability to work through us to enact amazing things.
I have never asked anything like this before of anyone, let alone ask it of people that I have never met but Eva and I love our beautiful little boy and for someone who was running and playing in the park 7 days ago (the picture above was taken on Easter Sunday 2010) to be in basically a coma today with no apparent reason is more than enough cause for me to ask each and every one of you to say a small prayer for Kristian Scott Kerschbaumer in PICU Room 507 to get better and respond to his Doctors treatment and for him to get better quickly so he can come home or at least be awake in time for Mothers Day next Sunday. I ask you to help God grant me the following personal wish, that his Mom (and my beautiful wife) Eva not have to spend her Mothers Day in the Intensive Care Unit staring at her intubated son - that at the very minimum, Kristian will be awake, in a regular room, happy and on the road to his former, incredibly happy self.
There are over 10,000 people on this list and you cannot know and I will never be able to adequately express to each of you how much I appreciate your kindness, and your healing thoughts, faith and prayers. And if God or Jesus are not your thing or if my request makes you a bit uncomfortable, then please simply think whatever happy healing thoughts you can and express wish them Kristian's way.
